Transitional Kindergarten
Our Transitional Kindergarten class at Lions N’ Lambs is a five day program. This class is intended for children who turn 5 between September 1st and December 15th or children whose parents have chosen to wait a year to start their child in Kindergarten.
The Transitional Kindergarten class daily activities include: centers, circle time, Bible time, snacks, music, outside playtime, art projects and the “ZooPhonics” program. We also use workbooks that teach recognizing and writing letters and numbers as well as identifying letter sounds. In addition, every month we have a science project, a cooking project, and “Bible Time” with the Children’s Director.
